I've spent a good amount of time playing with both Ubercart and the e-commerce modules and have decided on ubercart

one thing I can't seem to find is the ability to be able to automatically email the invoice (once the paypal payment has been received and the order status changed to completed) instead of having to go through the orders section and manually doing it.

i've tried using the workflow-ng module but I cant find the action to allow me to do this

can anyone help me at all

thanks
andy

Re: Automatic Invoice Emailing

Hmm.. it ought to do this by itself, however there may be an incompatibility with PayPal. Any time an order moves from in checkout to post checkout, it ought to mail out the invoice. What PayPal service are you using?

Re: Re: Automatic Invoice Emailing

Hi Ryan, i'm currently using PayPal Website Payments Standard only as the Paypal Express Checkout gave me....

Error message from PayPal:
Security header is not valid

and I dont want to use the credit card option as I dont have any ssl encryption

my actual Paypal account is personal, so whether that could be causing an issue?!?

All those little settings to check, gets ya every time. I have found it best to document every step as I attempt to activate & configure a module. This gives me a reference when troubleshooting and provides a step-by-step for futur setup. I know it creates more work the first time around but it sure pays off.
