Ubercart / GoDaddy / Linkpoint Questions

I have my website hosted on GoDaddy, I do believe it is on a shared account, I have SSL working with my domain, I installed ubercart and love it. I got the site pretty much where I want it, now I am ready to open for business and start accepting credit cards. I was planning on using linkpoint, since that is what my bank prefers.

Can anyone give some advice as to what kind of access I need? Link point and my bank has alot of different services, I am not real sure what kind of plan I need. Also I am wondering if it is going to work with my hosting account. I read some messages here that ubercart folks had trouble w/linkpoint and cURL not working with ports on goDaddy shared hosting account.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated. I have never done this before and it is becoming a bit overwhelming.

Thanks.

If you are wondering about a specific processing package, your bank should help you with that. You bank should probably help you with most aspects of processing the cards, except, of course, Drupal/Ubercart specifics.

If they won't help you, maybe consider Paypal? I think they charge 2.9% plus .30 per transaction.

If you are on a shared hosting account, this will NOT work. I had to switch hosting providers to allow me to use linkpoint and Ubercart together. That said, it works great now that I have switched.

Since you're all set and running, you might consider a different company than linkpoint.
