A module to display special offers?

Hello,
Does it exist a way to display product with strikethough price, i.e. kind of special offers?

Sale with Old and New prices
Sell price striked through when less than list price

But what about something like "New Products For September" and "Monthly Specials For September" with possibility to show blocks on first page like in Zen-Cart? Is there any solution?
