Maybe I have missed something basic, but I cannot figure out how to get rid of the quantity field in the add to cart form in Views.

I set the default quantity to zero for each product, so the quantity field does not show up in the product display. But when I list the products in a table, the add to cart button has a quantity field.

I looked at the code, and it looks like it should adhere to the setting per product.

What am I missing here?

thanks
Katrina

Just to make sure -- When

Just to make sure --

When you go to Store Administration > Configuration > Product Settings > Edit, have you unchecked "Display an optional quantity field in the Add to Cart form"? I didn't play extensively, but with that box not checked, I couldn't get the qty field to show up anywhere except the cart.

Re: Just to make sure -- When

The problem is that I need the qty field for some products and not for others. It says in the add node form that if you enter a zero or blank out the default quantity, the qty field will be removed for the specified product. And it is in the regular node display, But the views field version of the add to cart form does not seem to follow the per product settings.

I have hidden it via a form alter. I have seen no other way to make it work.

thanks for asking,
Katrina
