Different Shipping Rate for Different Cities

We're currently doing all home deliveries in Shanghai, but will soon spread to Beijing. Because of the extra transport cost, we're looking to charge any home delivery order in Beijing an additonal 8 RMB. Is there a setting or a contribution to handle this sort of delivery charge? This is on top of our usual flat fee of 30 RMB for delivery.

Is this doable?

Cheers!

I think you can do this with workflow.

I should add that not all products are being shipped to Beijing. Only the beer. No wines & such. Will workflow work with this as well?

Thanks for the response!

you can define a shipping charge specifically for Beijing with workflow. or for other regions as well.

Found that. On Shipping, I have Flat Rate of 30 RMB, for all of China. That's standard. I added a 2nd flat rate for Beijing of 7 RMB. When I add the action, it doesn't give me any choice. "Order" only lets me choose order, and "Quote Method" doesn't let me choose anything else but "Quote Method".

Nevermind... got that part. However, now when recalculating the order, it's asking me do I want to choose the 30 RMB delivery or the 7 rmb delivery. It should simply tack on 7 RMB. Perhaps I shouldn't do it on delivery cost, but elsewhere instead?

Or... perhaps, is there a way to make certain products only available in certain zones? This may make things easier as well, too, as only the beer is going to Beijing AND Shanghai, while the coffee & meat pies are all only Shanghai (screw Beijing Eye-wink .
