'State' icons

How can I implement those nice icons on the right, that show some kind of state?
I'd like to use them with my Ubercart webshop (eg. in stock / not available)

How can I display more than one list of nodes (table views) on one page, just like on the picture.
I'd like to break up my pricelist. Separation should be based on categories. (eg. laptops, monitors, keyboards, etc)
