Anyone using Drupal 6?

I'm currently developing an e-learning site and for it I need to manage (and sell) access for courses. I'm stuck with Drupal 6 because I need multi-lingual support (which does not work under Drupal 5 correctly). Is here anybody who is using Ubercart for a similar setup?

From the available informations I understand that the Drupal 6 version is still under development (I can drop some money - something between $200 - $400, but only after I have a fully functional site).

Hi,

Most of modules (at least the critical one) has been ported to D6 for the status I know ATM. There a still 2 modules to update to have an usable (but not production ready) version, it's the product module and the CA module.

The product module is actually broken because it have dependencies with imagefield and imagecache, and imagefield don't have a 6.x version ATM. There is gapdev that update the product module to remove deprecated stuff and make it compatible with the CVS version of imagefield that is for Drupal 6, but it's far from beeing ready for a production website.

The CA module will replace workflow, if I understood well, the system works OK, but there is no UI to manage your rules.

So it is not ready for a production site, not so far, but not yet. Don't know your deadline but if you have to finish it before the summer, I suggest you to keep 5.x and manage multilanguage with i18n. In addition, i18n is really buggy on d6 ATM and it works better on D5.

Thx for suggestion, but i18n simply does not work with Drupal 5 (the backend seems to work OK, but the front-end does not work at all). Multi-lingual content is absolutely critical for me, therefore I really can't use Drupal 5. The website is already up, and yes the deadline is before summer ends.

I'm using Ubercart with D6 on a production site, albeit one without images, so Ubercart 6 can certainly be used if one understands the limitations.

I am also working on another site that DOES use images and it too is working just fine. We are now tweaking the display to our liking, even have Thickbox working in the Catalog Grid.

The biggest stumbling block is the lack of Order Notifications. But, I got around that by using PHP in the Checkout Success page that sends me an E-Mail telling me that an order has been placed. It will work just fine until the Conditional Actions (CA) interface is finished.

What is going on when you hit add to cart on the top left product 001 and it refreshes the page or something? Known issue? Or a special feature?

Oh, that seems promising. From what I see, I understand that you are selling real stuff, not access + subscriptions. Any reports about this functionality?

looks like you guys have some testing still to do. You cannot order products from your website.

I'm using it and the only problems I've found are: Countries importation, strange notifications, some Warnings and problems with Conditions... it's usable, not perfect, but usable.

Gapdev,

I checked both of your sites and the shopping cart doesn't seem to work. I was thinking about using Ubercart for Drupal 6 but I am wary of using a port that's not stable.

Are you having alot of issues with it?
