I am in the need of setting up a solution where I can charge my customer's card once a month. I would really prefer to have the actual card data saved so I would always have the option of directly charging it if needed.

It looks like UC no longer saves the credit card data of any transaction so I am guessing I should find a way to store it through another service?

I am thinking my best bet would be to use Authorize.net's CIM.

Does this sound like the right way to go about this or am I leaving something out?

Thanks!
Quinton

Re: Q: Credit Card Storage and Recurring Billing

Hey Quinton - yeah, we had to disable the permanent storage for security reasons. As far as I know, Authorize.Net's CIM is a good way to go. I need to chat with the module author about rolling the solution into core so we can ship with a really solid Auth.Net solution. Thanks for reminding me. Eye-wink
