Catalog display on frontpage

Hi all, Does anybody knows how to display catalog on the frontpage sticky on top? Thank you
You could try using uc_marketing module's "visual catalog" block, put it in your content region with a light weight and then restrict access to the front page using the blocks config page. The default front page can be changed to have the catalog displayed as the first page of the site. admin/settings/site-information At the bottom of the field there will be a "Default front page" setting. Change to catalog in place of the default listing. In my case I am using a three column theme. The catalog is displayed in the center column. Hey thanks for the reply, I am looking at something that can display the catalog in a node. So that i can still use the frontpage to blog. Tried the uc_marketing module but cannot stick it to top even the weight has been set to the lightest -10 Is there any other suggestion? Dear Alan: Not quite sure your vision of the front page. There may be a way through theming to run some catalogs on the front page and blogs, though this would probably require some work with Panels2 and be easiest if you're working with Drupal 5? You can easily use blog entries for the front page, or stories.. or mix them. You could include pictures of products in your blog or stories and link to them. You could "add a block" in site building/blocks and put anything into the block you'd want in the way of html.. though depending on your theme you'd not likely be working with a columh wider than 150 pixels or so. Perhaps this will help a little or others will understand what you want a little more clearly and have great ideas. Care.. STeve
