Check your settings...

Specifically, check:
Site Admin > Site Building > Imagecache

You should have a list similar to:

Manage imagecache preset. 
Preset Name Actions 
cart edit    remove    flush 
product edit    remove    flush 
product_list edit    remove    flush 
uc_category edit    remove    flush 
uc_thumbnail edit    remove    flush

Product is where the config for the image displayed on the product page is controlled.

also make sure you have added imagecache in content type product
