broken shopping cart?

I know the world of drupal is all about FireFox and many don't give a darn about IE.

I understand this, but the reality is most people still use IE.

With that, I have a problem that I can't figure out, and it is only in IE.

when one adds an item to the shopping cart, the cart page ends up being about twice as wide as should be normal. This does not happen in FF.

I can't figure it out, but if anybody has ideas, I'm open.

It's your theme, not Ubercart or Drupal. The fix probably involves some combination of CSS and markup in your theme template.

I see. I thought bluemarine was as basic as they come. I tried marvin and it has the same issue.

I tried a few others (garland & minelli) and they worked, but it will take some work to make those look correct.
