I am trying to find a better solution for this current problem we have. We are selling classes to students and as part of they class they have the option to buy the book. Currently we have the following setup:
A course has an attribute with options to buy the book or not.
What I would like to do is have a setup where when a user looks at a course, they have an option to add the course materials as well to their cart at the same time. However, I would like these materials to be a separate product, and not an attribute-option.
Is there an easy way to do this, or is there a module that will do this for me? I could write this module, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel. I looked into product kits, but this isn't exactly what I want. Any thoughts on a setup to do this are greatly appreciated.
