Hi,

I am using paypal express as payment checkout and I'm not sure how to get it to return the customer back to the site for a confirmation page where I can put the google conversion tracking information. How do you guys do it?

thanks

There's no good way to force a user back to your website w/ PayPal. However, should the user choose to browse back, it was my understanding they'd hit the /cart/checkout/complete page where the Google JS is displayed.

It's generated by the cart module, so there's nowhere to edit it. The most you can do is alter the checkout settings. If your problem is you need to get the Google JS in there, just grab the Google Analytics module from drupal.org and then enable the UC Google Analytics module that ships with Ubercart.

I'm planning the same thing, my plan is to put the Google conversion JS into a block and to set it to only appear on that page. Remember to set the Input Filter to PHP, to make sure the JS doesn't get filtered out.

Not sure why you need to do that? As long as the modules are enabled and configured, and a user returns to that page, conversions should be getting tracked. You also need to create the goals in your GA setup (on google.com/analytics).
