Hmm..if you are using the default 'product' content type of ubercart, you just enter the description in the 'Body' field of the product entry form.

Hmm...I saw your other thread and I guess you are talking about the catalog table display (you probably turned off the grid display option). It does not show product descriptions.
You can build your own table view complete with whatever field you wish to highlight by using the drupal 'views' module. It has a bit of a learning curve, but is amazingly versatile.

Thanks Venkat.. Yes grid display is off.. all iam seeing here is products shown up in Image.. Name.. and price columns.
All i want is that under 'Name'.. description of the product is also shown. I have got the views module.. but still not quite able to where to start things up to customize products viewed under categories. kindly give me a starting point..

@sarmad - This isn't a good way to get help. I saw your other thread but obviously didn't have time to help. Also, I know the question has been answered half a dozen times in other threads (some by me). Search for that and look into the Views and Views Bonus Pack modules. Otherwise figure out how to tweak this in your theme. It's all out there.

iam not new to posting in forums.. i searched out with keywords "product description category" etc etc.. but the search system dont seem to be competent enough.
Also, I know the question has been answered half a dozen times in other threads (some by me).
i saw hardly 1.. or 2 replies which wasn't more than saying "use view module".. if that is the kind of 'support' you think is good enough for new users.. then Good luck in running the support forum.
