If you set up a product (subscription) for recurring payments - does Ubercart

1. hold the credit card numbers and submit to the gateway each month?
- Or -
2. does it require the gateway to understand recurring payments?

I'm hoping for 1 as our credit card processor charges fees for number 2

It can do 1 for testing, but that's not recommended since it is not a PCI compliant solution.

Good point.

Do you support ARB for Authorize.Net? And how does this update the subscription information on my server? I assume that once Aurhtoize.Net is doing the billing you have some way of knowing it happened each month and update my server to keep the roles active - or cancel them if the card did not go through.
