Hello all,

I have a need that I'd like to fulfill through Ubercart if possible, but I'm not sure if I'm asking too much of it.

We are a yoga studio that allows people to pay for a single class at a time or a mutiple-class pass for a discount. With our recent ubercart store, people can now pay online.

What we'd like at this point is to add all the classes to the event module's calendar and let people thus pay for individual classes. However, if people already have a pass, we want them to be able to apply that to a single class. Thus, if they have a pass, the system detects that and by registering for the particular class, their pass is decremented by 1 class.

Is this doable? It's sort of like a membership, but it's not time-based, it is class-count-based.

Of course there are softwares out there, like Mind Body, that cost a lot of money. I'd love if Ubercart could do this, but might consider sponsoring its development as well.

Thank you,
Jugney

Re: Need subscription-type system that is not time-based

Hey Jugney, I'm curious to know if a solution with Userpoints will work for you. If you named your points "Passes" or something, you could then make all your classes worth 1 point or something. So, when someone purchases the pass, they're really purchasing 25 userpoints to sign up for classes.
