I've seen a couple threads about this and I've double checked everything recommended in those threads but still have significant differences in what shipping quotes is returning for UPS items and what the UPS web site quote tool says.
On the UPS site (https://wwwapps.ups.com/ctc/request):
1. Detailed time and cost, shipping from 60504 zip to 60504 zip.
2. Shipping today
3. Packaging: My Packaging, 1 lb, dim: 9x6x1, declared value $25
4. Pay charges at retail location, no daily pickup.
UPS Ground comes out to $8.75.
In Ubercart, on the product page:
1. Products and its derivatives are shippable, weight 1 lb., Units of measurement inches, 9x6x1, pkg quantity 1.
2. Shipping settings: Default product shipping type - small package, default shipping address - 60504,
3. UPS product description: Package type - customer supplied packaging.
And on my shopping cart, shipping quote to 60504 gives:
UPS Ground $13.08.
Any ideas?
