Limit Order to single product

Ok this is a real show stopper, Kart killer. The client sells art, no art pieces are the same so a buyer can never receive more than one of each item. The client does not want the ability to let anyone order more than one item and does not want to go live without this feature in place.

I have seen some solutions, product_max but I get the message "This version is incompatible with the 6.5 version of Drupal core." when I try to install it. Does anyone know how to tweak product_max to get it to work with 6.5. So one last cry for help here. Should I set a bounty and get client to pay, if so how much will it cost the client?????

Far from a cart killer, this is just a research issue. There's been a contrib out there for some time now that I think does exactly what you need... it's posted in our directory (UC Restrict Qty.) with a link to the page http://drupal.org/project/uc_restrict_qty.

Excellent, you guys rock and my research skills need some tweaking!! The client will be happy. Now if I can just figure out how to take the product out of stock once it's sold I'm done wit my first Ubercart Project!
