How would you add a form to a product?

Sorry for all the posts today, I'm just getting my head wrapped around UberCart, and am running into areas that I'm not able to find information about on the forums.

Is there a method for adding a form to a products, as was done here: http://www.cards4kids.com.au/catalogue/personalised-cards/christmas/auss...?

The site I'm developing needs a similar kind of feature, where the user adds some specific information to their product order, and I wasn't sure if there was a module that already supports this?

Thanks again!

By the way, what is Juice? I've scoured this site and haven't found a good explanation yet. Eye-wink

Thanks!
Chris

A small tutorial on how were made the personnalized cards products would be useful Smiling

The real time price change and quantity pricing are very nice.

About the juice: I know what you mean Sticking out tongue I don't even think the überpeople have laid any plans for the juice yet. Until then, we'll just have to assume it's this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juice Sticking out tongue

The form there seems to have been done using product attributes. You'll need to enable that module for them to work. You can specify different options per product, and if you don't give any option for an attribute it will create the text field that lets customers put in their own value.

Also, I can't even tell you what Juice is for. It's really just a pain in my rear, since the module I'm using for that is buggy. Eye-wink

Thanks for the article, Thomas, that was very informative. I had no idea that "Fruit juice consumption overall in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the USA has increased in recent years". Eye-wink

Ryan, thanks for the tip on the attributes. I was playing around with them but hadn't actually tested what happened with a blank attribute. That's very cool!

If I wanted to switch one of those text inputs to a textarea or a date input, would I then need to access the form via the forms API, or would there be some method to add an attribute with a particular CCK type without getting into the code?

Thanks!

As an FYI, on "da streets" in my hood outside of Boston, anyway, the term "Juice" refers to “credibility”, “respect” or “influence”.

If a guys got "Juice" he can get things done more than one who don't.

I suspect this kind of "Juice", and not the by-product of crushed fruit, is what we are earning as we post Smiling

And here I had this idea of all these shelves full of fruity drinks served in coconuts with little paper umbrellas in them. And bendy straws. Got to have bendy straws.

Then again, maybe Juice is what you get when you squeeze batteries.
