PayPal phone required?

Hi,

I searched everywhere but couldn't find a way to turn off mandatory phone number field when using PayPal WPS. O PayPal.com in Website Payment Preferences I turned off Contect Telephone, but PayPal still requires a phone number when trying to pay.

Where / How can I turn it completely off?

Hey Tom, if you're talking about the settings on the PayPal site itself, I'm not sure if this is possible. Puzzled

It is turned off on my PayPal profile, but (if I get it right) PayPal Support told me that it should be done when transferring the cart to PayPal.

Curious... I'll review the API docs and see if there's something I can do for that based on the Ubercart setting.

Do you have any idea? Maybe to prefill the phone number with a fictious number? Or is it possible at all?
