Hi UberCart community, I'm hoping you can help me with my new installation. I'm fairly new to drupal and ubercart.

I wrote an eBook on cooking in the backcountry and I'm trying to sell it using PayPal (no credit cards yet).

The install went fine! Users can pay with paypal and The issue I'm having is that whenthe money hits my account. The buyer gets an email recipt of the order, and a new account is create for the user.

The problem is that there is no file listed under the "Files" section, and the buyer never gets an email saying that the download is ready.

The perplexing part is that it did work once for me. A single time. I don't know what I changed but now it's not working.

Can anyone please help and point me in some areas to look into to fix this? As it worked once, I'm sure it must be a configuration error.

You can check it out at backcountrykitchen.com/node/28
For testing I put the ebook cost at 50 cents. I'll refund any test orders Smiling

Thanks guys!!!!!!!
Johanna

Re: Help with PayPal and new installation

You should look at your file download settings in the product feature settings menu, and you should also look at the order comments for these orders to see when payments are being reported and what order status the orders end up at. Ideally, you'd end up at the "Completed" order status and set your file downloads to be made available then.

you have to change the atributes in the product part>

go to the specifi product and change its attibute and associate it with the file down load. the text box has a little circle thing that will look for the file you are meaning to apply the attribute to it will look for it in you files folder where you put all your DL's (downloads). associate this file with the specified product. also the dl's in the store config have to be accessed after "payment received" so this has to be checked too.
