I may be just having a braindrain right now but can someone suggest the best way to do this:
I have apporximately 200 products, each with their own warranty options (0,1,2,3 years)
So far i have set up each individual product (no problem), a generic warranty 'product' with all the pricing/year attributes & options (still no problem)
Now, where do i go from here? I would like to do either of the following:
1. Select the product first which then takes me to a followup screen asking me if i wanted to add a warranty of 0,1,2,3 years
2. Have both the product and the warranty option on the same page
Does option 1 mean i have to create bespoke 'add to cart' links to each product which redirects to the relevant warranty 'product'. That seems very long winded!
Does option 2 use the product kit? if so, what do i need to change to make this happen neatly as i've tried so far and it looks awful!
Is there a third way .... ? using views perhaps???
Would really appreciate some suggestions.
