I have a blog on my site in addition to a shopping cart. My blog has a Feedburner email subscription, so every time I add a new product, it gets published and sent out to my e-mail subscribers, which I don't want (spam!). How can avoid this? I'm guessing it's related to publishing something outside the front page, but I'm not finding any answers in the searches I'm doing. Thanks in advance.

Re: Prevent Ubercart Products From Being Published To RSS Feeds

Your RSS feed should be based only on blog items, not overall content.

how is your feed set up?

Looked into it more. Everything was posting to the front page, where the RSS feed is based on. I have to use Views and create a separate feed that only shows Stories and not Products.

Or you can just unpromote the existing products nodes and edit your node type settings for products so they don't get promoted to the front page like that.

Or you can feed from your blog page, rather than from your front page, if you just want blogs.
