Hi,
i am trying to configure my site to setup the paypal website payment standard payment using paypal my issue is the order amount and all gets captured correctly on the paypal account but on returning to the store the order is moved to pending state only also the transaction id is set to unknown i cant understand the reason for this can any one help me on resolving this isuues i have read about similar issues and tried to resolve mine but nothing has helped me so far to resolve the issue

if i try to use the paypals website pro gateway to process the card than in that case it returns transaction id and moves the order in completed state only the website payment standard cause an issue.
there are no logs found in the order logs

i am using the sandbox account for testing.

Same problem here

steve123, does your balance still show as though it hasn't been cleared in Ubercart as well when using WPS, even though the payments have clearly been made in PayPal?

I'm using both WPP UK and Express Checkout (live, not sandbox) and although my payments are going through OK in PayPal, when transactions are completed on the site although every says everything has worked OK The balance remains unchanged, I have no Transaction ID and my user has not been granted the role that their purchase entitles vthem to

I did not work with express checkout it wasnt working for me either also my client did not require that i dont know how the express checkotut works i had modified the code to get the test account working because my test server had a authentication password required and paypal was not able to send the ipn back to my server but when i went live it got resolved on its own and the transaction were ocuuring properly.
