Request to become maintainer / co-maintainer

Description
Project:
Authorize.net CIM

I'd like to make a new official Drupal 6 release of the uc_cim module on Drupal.org and co-maintain it, and/or maintain it.

I've posted my latest code to a CVS account request on Drupal.org at http://drupal.org/node/567866#comment-2003532

Personally, I think you should go for it. I would love a drop-in replacement for the core Authorize.net CIM method. We plan on moving our site to have subscriptions as well as customer profiles, and it seems that the core Authorize.net module still isn't there yet (mainly lacking an interface, from what I understand).

I would love to see a fully-integrated system, such as one that allows you to cancel an order and have CIM issue the refund automatically. Stuff like that, while "little" in a sense are actually quite huge with regard to their benefit.

RSTaylor,

Have you had any luck with getting uc_cim up on Drupal.org? I notice that your CVS request was closed and reopened using just uc_echopay. Are you still interested in maintaining or co-maintaining uc_cim? If not, I'd be happy to give it a shot, I just don't want to duplicate my effort.

This project now has a page at http://drupal.org/project/uc_cim

A dev snapshot should be showing up there within a day.

RSTaylor,

Thanks for getting the project up! This will really help to move the project forward. I've been working on a version of uc_cim that depends a lot more on uc_credit and uc_authorizenet, basically provides a wrapper around the two to intercept/inject CIM profile IDs. There was a lot of code in uc_cim that duplicated the functionality of both uc_credit and uc_authorizenet. It's not anywhere near being completed, but I'm pretty sure it will work. Would you be interested in releasing it as the next version of uc_cim, and I can co-maintain it?

Thanks,
duellj
