Ubercart

This will happen if you download the code from our Bazaar repository. It shouldn't happen if you get it from CVS at Drupal or from the project page. Let me know if something else is going on here.

I downloaded Ubercart from drupal.org, and Update Status states that the installed Ubercart version is unknown.

Update Status module reports my Ubercart installation to be 5.x-1.0-alpha7b when it actually 5.x-1.0-alpha8.

Individual modules within Ubercart are reporting different versions on the module administration page also.

The affected modules are located in grouped sub-folders of the root Ubercart folder (payment, shipping).

Other modules "one level higher" are reporting correct version numbers (uc_store, uc_notify, etc).

Is this an Ubercart problem, or a Drupal one?

I read that the payment and shipping folders were new to Ubercart, and that I had residue left over from previous versions. Once I deleted the duplicate modules, the hippies started dancing.

It seems that Ubercart now works perfectly with Update Status.
