Authorize.net CIM

Hello,

We're using Authorize.net CIM (http://www.ubercart.org/contrib/2537), and people from outside US are not able to check out. We had customers from Israel and Hong Kong report this problem. We have those countries enabled in the store configuration page.

These are the errors we get:

Quote:

CIM Charge failure. Raw gateway response: . Raw CIM response: The transaction was unsuccessful.

Payment failed: Credit card payment failed: The transaction was unsuccessful.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Andrey.

Can you verify that the reason was because they were from outside the US? I don't see any details there about that. I would contact someone at authorize.net and see if you can get some detailed information from them.

The orders from US come through just fine. Hong Kong and Israel don't.

We're going to write to Auth.net to see what they say.

The error messages don't seem very helpful. Is there a way to make them more verbose?

Thanks,
Andrey.

We've been unable to process transactions for non-US customers for a while using Ubercart CIM. It is noted here under #11: http://www.ubercart.org/contrib/2537 and here: http://www.ubercart.org/issue/6446/illegal_choice_error_when_selecting_n...

I talked with Chad and he's at least aware of this problem. I'm not sure what his schedule is like to get around to fixing it.

We got this message from Auth.net:

Quote:

you can easily make changes yourself in your merchant interface. You need to click on the Account tab on the top, then under Security Settings you need to click on Address Verification Service and uncheck three boxes for letters G, U and S. These are the settings that are not letting you process the credit cards issued outside of U.S.. Do not forget to click SUBMIT on the bottom.

We'll try it and see if that makes any difference.

UPDATE: Yep, it all works now. We got our first subscriber from Israel.

Andrey.
