activeI am torn between this being a bug or a feature request.
After enabling the catalog module the vocab is created and the status message indicates the catalog is ready to roll and start adding products.
However in reality you are not able to add products to the catalog without any terms set up. Maybe the status message should say something about the need to click here to add terms/subcategories to the catalog.
Also as a side note on the same topic, for the orphaned products list it would be much more user friendly if the workflow sent the suer back to the orphaned products list after assigning a category to a product from that list, too hard to find that list after updating each product.

Re: Catalog Status message
Weird, there's no function for counting the number of terms in a vocabulary. Oh well. It's an easy query.
How about if there are no terms in the catalog that the last sentence points to the Add term form for the vocabulary? Then they can add however many they want, even though they have to find the orphaned product list again.
When I made the oprhans list, I thought most people would open each product in a new tab, submit the form and close the tab, and do the next one. But redirecting to that page after the form is submitted is more like the rest of Drupal, so I'll put it in.
Lyle, These sound like great
Lyle,
These sound like great solutions. I know these seem minor, but when you are showing off ubercart to a room of 100 people and something happens you don't expect it's a good time to stop and write it down. Thanks for looking into the requests from the users point of view. Users somewhere will always rejoice to UI improvements.
Thanks
I know, I saw..
I swear, I wrote down every little nuance that occurred during your presentation (which was excellent btw
, I'll be getting my backpack here within a day or so, probably. Maybe the weekend, I dunno.
