Ahh, you've been with us for months... You've trudged through the alphas, submitted your patches and features requests, and seen how much you could break in the betas. For our part, we've been busy coding and fixing. Now we can all take a deep breath and enjoy a long awaited entrance into the wonderful world of release candidates.
Today we've pushed out Ubercart 1.0-rc1 with special thanks to the security team at Drupal.org taking some extra time to review our release. Feel free to review the notes on that post at Drupal.org and get to using the release candidate.
The name of the game now is final bugfixes and installation corrections. Pre-release testing has already turned up one issue that will be fixed in the first intermediate release. We're looking for stability now so we can confidently put out a 1.0 release and think once again about the future of the project.
And for all those who keep asking... this does bring us one huge step closer to Drupal 6 compatibility.
As always, please review the update FAQ as you grab the latest and greatest version of Ubercart. Many thanks to all those who have submitted bug reports, patches, and suggestions to make Ubercart even more secure, flexible, and easier to use.

Congrats on getting to RC!
Nice job guys!
Re: Ubercart Moving to Release Candidate
That's just great, well done everyone
Looking Forward to the new RC!
Ryan:
Downloaded 1012 off of Bazzar and have not yet activated the modules in a new install. Would it be better at this point to use RC1 or just get another Bazzar.

Re: Looking Forward to the new RC!
You'd be better off getting the Bazaar version since the RC didn't get the fix at the bottom of this thread: http://www.ubercart.org/forum/announcements/4051/release_candidate_previ.... It kind of slipped by us when we were packaging up the release.
Re: Congrats on getting to RC!
That is great! I can't wait to upgrade the final 1.0 release.
I know ya'll want to move on the 2.0 already!

Bazaar
Installed and now working with Bazaar version 1022 so it looks like that has your fix.
Also, is there a way to only download revision 1023 and not the entire cart when using Bazaar? i.e. the following will download the entire cart 'bzr checkout http://bazaar.ubercart.org/drupal5/ubercart'
So far so good and I like the changes...... Nice work by all!
Jim
Re: Bazaar
Hey Jim, just typing 'bzr update' from the directory where you did the checkout should grab the latest changes.

Thanks, will give it a try.
