Thanks in large part to the efforts of Shawn from the Uberteam, we have a demo site up and running at http://demo.ubercart.org that lets any user who creates an account access the store administration portions of the cart. We're using the Demonstration Site module to rollback the database every hour (at about 6 past the hour it seems), so any users that get created or changes that are made will be wiped at that time. Sorry if this inconveniences anyone, but it seemed like the best way to have a demo up and running without any sort of moderation.
The site will be good for a quick look at the administrative side of Ubercart. It's a copy of the Livetest, so there are some ready made products for folks to play around with. Let us know if you have any ideas for improvement.
On a side note, those interested will be happy to find a download link at the top of http://bazaar.ubercart.org that is a packaged up download of the development code as it's committed to the repository. It gets bundled up on the hour as well. You probably shouldn't slap this onto your live site unless you know what you're doing. Improvements in the latest code may render features your site relies on outdated or useless.
No metadata in catalog pages
How do you add meta data to the catalog pages? If you look at the demo and goto a catalog page, and view source, it's not there. Metadata module does not add to that page.

I registered, but only got a glimpse of the admin area. Once I clicked on a link, my permissions vanished, and I was then unable to access the admin demo. Any advise?
My mistake...
After reregistering, I see the admin demo. The difference this time being that I browsed direcly after signing up. Before, I had checked my email and did the whole link clicking, re-login process.

What am I missing here?
Is the demo down? All I see once I log in is the store, and the ability to log out, no admin, nothing at all like that. I was not redirected upon creating a new user account (tried twice), whether I browse directly or whether I click on the link in my email.
I have to think something must be broken.
Could we have the demo back so that I can show my customer?

Are the admin tabs showing somewhere?
After registering, I'm not taken to the admin page, nor can I see any admin pages setup anywhere. Am I missing something?
Have waited longer than an hour to see if a refresh will fix it and so far nothing has changed.
I need to checkout how the admin side of things work (I've seen the screenshots and user manual) but want to see it in action.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
