Ubercart 1.7 ... Finally!

I was amazed to look back and realize that the last release of Ubercart 1.x was 1.6 on November 3, 2008. I've been meaning to get to a new release for some time now but just never had the time. Since then we've had 45+ patches committed to core, representing a host of minor bug fixes, code clean-ups, usability improvements, and sponsored features and updates. Many thanks to our various sponsors and contributors, all of whom are visible in the Ubercart 1.7 release notes.

So... get your update on* and let us know how the 1.7 release drives!

Word on the street is a 2.0-beta3 should be hot on its heels. Cool

Thanks for the new release. I just want to promote a bug that is pretty critical since I see you did some work with uc_taxes in 1.17. In some cases, the workflow tax calculations are based on a potentially stale order object.

A pretty serious bug with, I think, a simple fix. Many users are struggling with this and the contrib uc_coupon (both flavors are broken because of how/when uc_taxes gets its order object). I'm not sure if the problem exists in 6.x, but it's there in 5.x.

Has Latest (ga.js) google analytical tracking code been added to UC1.7. I find it not working.

Ubercart should work with whatever version you're using... make sure you're using the latest version of the Google Analytics module.
