So... the release of Ubercart 1.0 for Drupal 5 has finally arrived. We can't believe how far the project has come from its initial Alpha release 15 months ago. Even more, we can't believe how much the community has grown! Releasing code is an achievement, but getting to work together with cool people from around the world on such a fun project is a joy. Thanks go to all you testers, bug fixers, CSS masters, contributors, and users who have made this release possible. Thanks also to the development team for putting it all together and making sure development can happen.

Folks updating from previous versions should be sure to read the release notes for each intermediate version before doing a full-scale upgrade to the 1.0. Changes were made that may affect the core and/or contributed modules your site depends on, particularly folks who accept credit card payments through their Ubercart checkout.
