Woohoo! It's been a month and a half since the last release, which is mostly a sign of a stable codebase but also a sign of our general busy-ness these last few weeks. Almost over-busy, if I do say so myself. This release does pack a punch, with something like 51 commits available for your viewing pleasure in a short changelog found in the release notes.
Any gotchas? Not particularly. Authorize.Net users might want to make sure they backup their DB before running update.php, but the update is really just there to change some variable names in the database. Nothing major.
There are a few other update functions in this release, so everyone is recommended to run update.php. For those who may not know, there is an FAQ here that lists out some safe steps for updating your Drupal sites. If you need a simple way to make DB backups and restore to them at will, you should really check out Backup and Migrate. It's incredible.
Again, thank you to all of our users and contributors. We had a lot of outside help on this one, and we appreciate every bit. Thanks also go to Digital Dollhouse and Acquia, Inc. who have sponsored core improvements in the Authorize.Net, CyberSource, Recurring Fee, and Taxes modules. Incredible!
Enjoy!

Flawless
Installation and upgrade was flawless. A veritable coding masterpiece!

the same for me, i just updated the site three days ago
Good job!
Thanks a lot guys for all the work you keep doing.
I want to ask you for one more thing. Could you please review all the .pot files and make them match the actual strings in Ubercart .module files. Cause after time-taking translation process I still got the untranslated strings (many!). In the REPORTS module, for example, but not only there...
Re: Good job!
Oof.. yeah, .pot files haven't been updated in a few releases. I just kind of assumed folks were getting them from http://l10n.privnet.biz. I'll see what we can do to get them all updated in the distribution for the next release.
Also... funny about the updates to 1.3.
Great work Exciting to see
Great work
Exciting to see these new changes
Fatal error with ubercart-5.x-1.4
I've just tried install the latest module ubercart-5.x-1.4 and gave me the following error:
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function uc_product_node_info() in C:\xampp-1.6.7\htdocs\drupal-5.10\sites\all\modules\ubercart\shipping\uc_quote\uc_quote.module on line 170"
I used the following version of dependent modules as explained at
http://drupal.org/project/ubercart:
TAPIr (TAPIr 1.5)
Token (Token 1.11)
uBrowser (uBrowser 1.3)
Workflow-ng (Workflow-NG 2.1)
Am I missing something? Thanks.
Re: Fatal error with ubercart-5.x-1.4
Search the forums on that one... it's come up quite a bit and just has to do with modules getting enabled out of order.
Drupal 6.x
Looking better all the time!
However, I'm waiting the Drupal-6 release of Ubercart so I can start using it for clients' (and for my own) sites.

Small problem
Problem in uc_taxes when you disable some address fields, created an issue: http://drupal.org/node/311702
Quote:Problem in uc_taxes
Thanks for the report. We're fixing that and another tax related issue and will have a 1.5 up by the end of the week. Gonna see what else we can fit into it.
Re: Quote:Problem in uc_taxes
This update when without a hitch.
You guys and gals are great!

Problem was solved. Although I have no idea why this happened with the update. Check the issue for the solution if you need it yourself. Thanks everyone.
Re: Ubercart 1.4 Released
i upgraded 1.3 to 1.4 on my test site and noticed check out page has issue with Javascript,
now i get: "Javascript must be enabled to view the order total preview" and "You must select a shipping option before continuing."
Re: Re: Ubercart 1.4 Released
Try a refresh to see if somehow the browser has cached that .js file. If that doesn't fix it, please open an actual support thread in the forums.
