This module checks the number of items in the user's shopping cart before they go to the checkout page. If the number of items in his/her cart is great than 22, it redirects the user back to the shopping cart and displays an error. If you want to change the max number of items, you will need to alter the number 22 in the module.

Hope this saves someone some time.

Re: UC Checkout (22) Max Items

Sorry for my ignorance, did I miss an issue? We have about 70 products, and we've had some users who have ordered close to 30-40 of them (sometimes more) without an issue. Is there some special scenario in which this issue occurs?

Re: Re: UC Checkout (22) Max Items

This is not an issue. This is a module I created to limit the number of items a customer can check out with. I am building an eCommerce site for a store that sells wines in Iowa. There is a state law there that prohibits the amount of alcohol that can be shipped by a retail store. The limit comes out to about 22 bottles of wine. Thus....I created this module to limit the number of items a customer can check out with to 22.

Oh cool That's not a bad

Oh cool Smiling That's not a bad idea, really - I could see other uses for it. (FYI I knew it wasn't an Issue as such, but was wondering if there was an issue you were solving somewhere..) Anyways - good work. Sorry I had to ask. Smiling

Re: Oh cool That's not a bad

no no! definitely no problem at all. I just have appreciated the community here so much lately and felt I needed to dive into module development to help out and to solve a few problems I was having with one of the sites I am working on. I suppose I should upgrade both of the modules I have submitted to allow the age and max items to be updated in the UI.
