Development work began on Ubercart 2.x before the 1.0 version was ever released, though it wasn't packaged up on drupal.org as a dev release until July 10, 2008. Converting the modules to Drupal 6 has taken several months, but the project is now in beta stage. Documentation for the new branch will be migrated under this page in the near future...
