I cant found a compatible full country list for drupal 6.X and Ubercart 2.X, so i found some countries (120) and update the scripts to work with these versions.

Note: these countries are now in Core at this time (dec. 2009), some countries left.

Fount meself...Thanks for

Fount myself...

To import new country data, select it in the list and click the import button. If you are using a custom or contributed import file, it must be placed in the Ubercart folder uc_store/countries

Thanks for the countries files!

Re: 120 Countries List

Thanx for sharing. Just downloaded latest 6.x-2.x-dev - 2010-Dec-10 but not all countries in your zip (147) are in there (only 118), so I've added them manually!

Cheers

Guatemala not importing

I took the guatemala_320_1.cif file from the zip, uploaded it to /sites/all/modules/ubercart/uc_store/countries and clicked IMPORT but nothing is changing. The file is still listed there and Guatemala does not appear in the list yet. Any ideas? I cleared the cache...

Re: Guatemala not importing

Been to Guatemale once, everything seems to take longer there, be patient Smiling

Now without the phun, I checked my country list in admin/store/settings/countries/edit/import and Guatemala shows up for me using the same zip. Pretty sure you must be missing a checkbox or something else is wrong. The cif worked fine for me...

Cheers

guatemala

Hi,
guatemala cif works fine for me.
You should try again and check the file permissions.
I just use this one 10 min ago (attach)

Re: guatemala

Hm, I tied your file and the one from the zip and neither one works. See the attached screenshot, this is how it looks before and after I click "Import".

Re: Drupal - Ubercart version

Thanks for the reply, these guys are on a bit of older Drupal at 6.14 with Ubercart at 6.x-2.2. I was not the original developer so I am a little worried about a straight upgrade but we can try it if that is the only option.

Hi, You should check .cif

Hi,

You should check .cif file permission of the guatemala file in:
/public_html/sites/default/modules/ubercart/uc_store/countries
permissions should be 644
(f.e. with cpanel use file manager, with ftp tool check properties)

Then it's may look stupid ... be sure your user have ubercart permission to admin store (admin/user/permissions):
uc_store module > administer store

If your database isPostgreSQL you should use this modifyed and tested cif (country column names added) to avoid the following bug (fixed in uc 2.3):
http://drupal.org/node/633876

Anyway you should plan to upgrade drupal and uc (at least for security reasons : http://drupal.org/node/880476) following http://drupal.org/upgrade

Re: Hi, You should check .cif

Thank you everyone for trying to help it is MOST appreciated. Unfortunately, permissions on the file are already 644 and the user does have "administer store" user permissions. I agree we need to upgrade, I am going to talk to the original developer to see what he thinks but if you have any other ideas keep them coming Smiling

Zambia

Hello,

This is my first post here. My client asked me to add Zambia into their Ubercart countries...so I gave it a shot.

If there is anything incorrect about this, then I apologize.

Re: Zambia

Zambia, and every other country in the world, is already in the latest versions of Ubercart (6.x-2.x-dev and 7.x-3.x-dev). I suggest you use the official .cif files and post a bug report on http://drupal.org/project/issues/ubercart if you find any errors in the official versions.

Thanks!

Hi TR,

Thanks for the reply.

When I did not find the Zambia file in the latest (non-dev) version --- it never occured to me to look in the dev build....next time, I will!

Thanks again.
