Lyle:

The file description does not appear when I manually add the file by going into the User's EDIT tab.

When the files are added at purchase, the file descriptions appear. This issue has been raised before but without an answer.

I'm here at Drupalcon Chicago and it's too much I'm sure to ask to have you take a look. But any leads you might give me would be very much appreciated.

Using Drupal 6.
