Re: Cards4Kids

This site is incredible! The product pages, particularly your use of attributes and altering typefaces based on an attribute selection, are great. Superb example for folks wondering about the flexibility of Ubercart's product system.

Congratulations on getting it out! Laughing out loud

Copyright Footer

I like the site's design, the bright colors are nice. FYI, I've noticed on the site's privacy policy page the copyright info displays at the bottom of page beneath the ubercart notice. On all other pages it displays at the bottom of the center content section. I would've figured you wanted that text at the bottom of all pages.

preview before buy?

Hi, this really is a nice piece of work. I just was wondering if you shouldn't integrate the possibility to have a preview of the ordered card. It can serve also as a step in the ordering process as it can even be asked to the user to approve on the preview. This would be full blown printing on demand.

Best regards,

Peter

Re: Cards4Kids

There are several things I want done on this site that I wasn't able to get out for the first release. The main thing was I wanted the ability for the user to directly upload a logo instead of having to send it in through email. I started working on a customization for it, but I didn't have the time (or funding from the client) to get it out. I still hope to get this working in an update.

I also would have loved the whole print on demand thing, but the client wants to have some design leeway. She wants to be able to create a design and proof herself, in case what the user came up with wasn't ideal. I did have in place a system where she could upload a proof to the online site, it would send an email to the buyer to have them approve the design, but she didn't seem to think her users would understand or use that functionality.

Thanks for the comments,
Steph
