Cast Away Ceramics (D6 / UC2)

Cast Away Ceramics is a site we made for our client to sell his Ceramic Mugs, Tikis and Dashboard Wigglers over the interweb.

Nothing all too special about this website other than it's an Ubercart 2.x - Drupal 6.x site.

Ubercart 2.x seems to work fine and I didn't have any major problems working with it. Working with Triggers is much nicer than working with the old workflow-ng for doing stuff like Taxes and Shipping. The other benefits of Drupal 6 like an improved Zen Theme made my life easier. Also using CCK2 and Views2. Since this project was successful, I will probably be using Druapl 6 and Ubercart 2 for all my new projects moving forward.

I figured I'd post this up to let other programmers know that in fact there are Ubercart 2.x sites in the wild and that it works fine.

This site also helped sponsor the development of the Transaction Central / Merchant Anywhere Payment API for Drupal 5/6.

This is a cool site, congrats! However, when testing the shop by adding products to cart, it stays empty. Other than that, great site!

I love this site, too, and am impressed to see it working good on D6. If anyone brings me a Gordon Gecko at Drupalcon DC I promise you a hug and an Ubercart sticker. Cool

Abilnet: I've heard this from a couple people. What OS/Browser versions are you using?

Oh, sorry... I should have mentioned this in the first place: Ubuntu Linux 8.04 (hardy) with Firefox 3.0.4 (both up to date)

Same Browser and OS as me Laughing out loud But when ever I seem to test it works. I just tested it now (not logged in as admin) and I duplicated the error.

I did upgrade securepages today to fix a bug they had another bug which caused an issue, but i was too lazy to "Run Updates". Tsk Tsk Tsk. I ran the updates and cleared drupal cache in devel, and it appears to fix the problem for me at least.

Can you give it another go and see if the issue still happens for you.

Thanks in advance,
Jordan

Thanks for re-testing.

Now if we could only get Ryan to put up his latest IE fixes from BZR to -dev CVS my site might work in IE Smiling (aside from the templates being horribly broken in IE5/6).

Update cart and Checkout buttons not working in IE:

In the mean time I got a wonderful error message to warn eager swashbucklers.
